Blythe, CA
Summary
From the ground, you might never see them, but from the air the Blythe Intaglios become all too apparent. The area contains three human figures, two animals, and a spiral and are best viewed from the air. The largest is 171-feet long. The figures have been dated to 900 BCE to 1200 CE and were constructed by various different means. No tribes have laid claim to them, and it is still not known why they were created.
