Quark Expeditions, a polar adventure company, has announced its Antarctic 2024-2025 season that will feature the most helicopter adventures of any operator in the Polar Regions.

The season will offer 30 departures, ranging from 7 to 23 days, to the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia Island, the Falkland Islands, and Patagonia. Andrew White, President of Quark Expeditions, said, "Without a doubt, our 2024-2025 season will be our most helicopter-focused Antarctic season ever."

Guests will have the opportunity to experience the continent from the air in Ultramarine's two twin-engine H145 helicopters.

In addition to helicopter tours, Quark Expeditions offers a variety of land- and sea-based adventures, including kayaking, Zodiac cruising, hiking, and wildlife-watching, under the guidance of expert expedition teams. "Guests on World Explorer and Ocean Adventurer will be able to choose from a robust portfolio of land- and sea-based adventures...who are recognized as the best in the polar industry," said White.

To make the trip more accessible for global travelers, Quark Expeditions has introduced several incentives for the 2024-2025 season.

Thomas Lennartz, Vice-president of Sales and Client Experience, said, "When planning for this new Antarctic season, we took into consideration the barriers currently facing global travelers." The incentives include 25% off select Antarctic voyages, an extra 10% off when paying in full at the time of booking, a $1,000 USD flight credit off the top of trip costs on all departures, and a US $250 shipboard credit that guests can use at their discretion.

Quark Expeditions has been specializing exclusively in expeditions to Antarctica and the Arctic since 1991, and it was the first company to take a group of consumer travelers to the North Pole. The company has a diverse fleet of specially-equipped small expedition vessels and icebreakers, some of which are equipped with helicopters. Its passionate and seasoned expedition teams, including scientists, wildlife experts, and researchers, offer an onboard program that enriches the passenger experience.
